Quequechan Quilter

I  have nearly completed the pattern for the Haunted House Quilt I showed an outline of last week.  I've printed the templates for the applique ghost, drunkard's path blocks, and the pumpkin stems.  I'm planning on making this in two different fabric collections.  One will be Lisa Bongean's Rustic Gatherings which was just released and the other is going to be Too Cute to Spook from last year. I still haven't quite finished the quilting on the Falling in Love quilt.  It's almost there so it won't be too much longer until it's done.  Then I can get onto quilting the other five I have ready to sandwich and quilt.  I'll be working on some Christmas projects and the Haunted House quilt in between quilting them.  I find it helps me to work on multiple projects.  I feel more like I'm getting some where and don't feel overwhelmed by one project. Well, my Falling in Love quilt still isn't quite finished.  I'm more than half way through the quilting, but I've run short of the thread I'm using, so I need to pick up another spool.  Hopefully I'll have it done next week. So, in lieu of a completed quilt, I thought I'd share some photos of some smaller projects I've completed in the past year. These are two tote bags I designed and created a short while ago.  I loved the seashore themed fabrics and thought they'd be a great small project.  I think they came out rather well. I have actually been spending some time working on the quilting of my Falling in Love quilt this week.  It's almost half quilted!  Yeah!! Once this one is finished, I have five more pieced tops to quilt.  I also have several projects I would like to get started on.  I just hope I'll have the time to complete them before the end of the year. I've been spending some time this week sort of watching a live stream done by SewingPartsOnline.  They are based in Dickson, Tennessee and are a wonderful resource for machine parts, notions, etc.  I found them a couple of years ago when the new Baby Lock Aria I purchased was missing the screw to add the shaft extension needed to use many of the feet.  I've ordered from them several times since and they are always great to work with.  Well, I had been thinking about reorganizing my sewing room and finally did it last Friday.  It took me about three hours to move all the furniture and I still need to go through some of my fabrics for things I don't thin I'll be using, but I'm happy that all my sewing machines are in one area now instead of at opposite ends of the room. You can see a small section of the quilt I'm currently working on quilting.  I haven't had much time to work on it lately and I have five others still to quilt and a few more I'd like to get done before the holidays.  Wish me luck! I spent part of last year making new small quilts to hang on our front door.  I actually got the red, white, and blue sail boats up for Fourth of July. It was made with some one and half inch half square triangles I had left over from a project I worked on in 2021 and a red fat quarter print I had in my stash.   I guess that's it for this week.   Have a great weekend everyone.
