Hello everyone, I've been very busy running back and forth to hospitals the past couple of weeks, therefore, I have had no time to sew--just clean, cook, and sleep. I finally had a few minutes today to take down St. Patrick's Day and put up spring in the house, but that's all I've gotten done.  Here are the quilts I've put out for the spring. Hello Everyone! I hope everyone has had a good two weeks.  Our weather in southeastern Massachusetts has been getting warmer.  I even spent some time out on my deck reading! My apologies for the lack of a post last week.  I just needed some time to catch up on a few things including some of my craft projects.  I've completed the St. Patrick's Day pillow covers and they are now on the loveseat in my living room.  My very Irish husband loves them. Pillow Cover in Progress I'm putting the Valentine's day covers on the back burner for a while to work on more pressing items like quilting some of the quilt tops I have and working on some new smaller projects for my home.  Of course, the newer projects always seem to get worked on first.   I hope everyone has a wonderful St. Patrick's Day on Monday.  Perhaps by then my husband will be out of the hospital and back home again.  It has been quite a couple weeks. Hello everyone! Being ill put me another week behind and all I found time to do was catch up on things around the house. No time for sewing. Anyway, as I didn't have the time to get into my sewing room, I thought I'd share some of my favorite notions. Here's a photo of the things I use most often when I'm sewing. Favorite Notions Left to right, from the top:  5 lb. weight 505 basting spray lint brush corner turner/pressing tool chacoliner marker 25mm rotary cutter 45 mm rotary cutter 60 mm rotary cutter applique scissors thread snips Sewline glue pen air erase marker stiletto seam ripper The weight comes in handy when cutting longer pieces of fabric as it helps to keep my ruler in place.  The small loop lint brush is great for cleaning my cutting boards, my sewing area, and my clothes. An air erase marker and chacoliner work well for marking almost everything.  All three sizes of rotary cutters are great to have. I most frequently use the 60 mm, but the 45 is great for ...
