Hello everyone! Despite spending alot of time taking my husband to doctor's appointments, the quilt top for the magazine is nearly finished.  It just needs its borders.  Though I can't share the pattern or the quilt top, I decided to give you a little sneek peek. Ready for Construction It's really coming out very well.  The few people who have seen it absolutely love it.  I hope the readers of American Patchwork and Quilting will too. I still have four quilt tops of my own to quilt--two bargello quilts and two that I made from Me and My Sister's Picnic Pop fabrics.  I also have blocks for another quilt top that I need to put together.  I've just had to spend so much of my time taking care of hubby I've taken what time I do have just to work on the quilt for the magazine. Once the top is together, it will need to be quilted. Normally I would do it myself, but the editor has strongly suggested I have someone else do it, so I'm going to double check with her a...

Hello, It's been another crazy week.  Once again I've spent a great deal of time taking my husband to doctor's appointments.  The infection in his legs is finally improving, but his congestive heart failure has been making his breathing a bit labored.  The doctor had him double up on his diretics and it seems to be helping. Hello everyone! It's been another busy week.  I have all the sub-blocks for the quilt I'm doing for American Patchwork and Quilting ready, but I still need to put them together and made into a quilt top.  My husband developed a bad infection and I've been spending a lot of time taking him to doctor's appointments and keeping after him to take his meds and follow doctor's orders.  He's very bad about following doctor's orders. Anyway, I have made some progress and hope to have the quilt top together by early next week.  I also put out my St. Patrick's Day quilt out for March.  Here's a photo of it on the quilt rack in our living room. St. Patrick's Day Quilt  I still have my winter friends quilt on the loveseat, as you can see in the photo, and I changed my winter door hanging for the St. Patrick's Day one I did a couple of years ago. St. Patrick's Day Hanging I haven't undone the quilting I didn't like on the Bargello quilt yet.  ...
